1913 photograph of Mabel Chow taken at 23 West Pender Street, in Vancouver. Mabel was Yucho Chow’s oldest daughter and she was the photographer’s first studio assistant. Mabel did anything and everything to help the studio run smoothly including carrying the heavy, wooden tripods. Even when she became a mother, Mabel continued to help her father even if it meant bringing her toddlers to work.
